Description
With “TAKE A CHANCE,” AB6IX released their sixth mini album in October 2022, presenting an energetic blend of pop, dance, and R&B. The title track “Sugarcoat” combines a groovy funk-inspired sound with catchy melodies and was co-composed by member LEE DAE HWI alongside producer ROBIN. The remaining tracks further showcase the group's musical versatility.
The album explores the courage to embrace new opportunities and venture into unfamiliar territory. Inspired by their encounters with fans during international fan meetings, AB6IX reflect on themes of togetherness, hope, and shared memories. The members once again took an active role in songwriting and production. “TAKE A CHANCE” is available in two standard versions, “CHANCE” and “TAKE,” each featuring a different visual concept.
