EXID is a South Korean girl group formed by AB Entertainment in 2012. The name "EXID" stands for "Exceed in Dreaming," symbolizing the members' ambition to surpass their dreams. The group consists of five talented members: Solji, Elly, Hani, Hyelin, and Jeonghwa.
On May 25, 2020, all members officially left Banana Culture, but this did not mean the group's disbandment. In September 2022, EXID released their first independent album "X" to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
EXID gained international fame with their hit "Up & Down" in 2014, which went viral and helped the group rise to prominence as one of the leading girl groups in the K-Pop scene. Since then, they have released several successful singles and albums, including "Ah Yeah," "Hot Pink," and "Lady." The group is known for their high-energy performances, catchy melodies, and strong stage presence.
Each member brings her unique personality and style to the group, resulting in a versatile and dynamic team. EXID has a dedicated fanbase worldwide, known as "Leggos."
