GFriend was a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music in 2015, consisting of six members: Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. Known for their powerful performances and distinctive concepts, the group often drew inspiration from fairy tales and fantasy, which helped set them apart in the K-Pop industry.
GFriend garnered a loyal fanbase, called "Buddy", who supported them from their debut onward. Over the years, the group released several hits, including "Rough", "Navillera", and "Time for the Moon Night", all of which earned them widespread recognition and success in the K-Pop scene.
In 2021, GFriend decided to take a break from group activities, which led some of its members to explore solo careers. A few members later formed a new group called Viviz, which debuted with songs like "Summer Rain" and "Gone with the Wind". As a trio, Viviz has continued to show their immense potential, proving that each member has the talent to succeed both individually and as a group.
