Description
The group DKB (다크비) has released their ninth mini-album [Emotion], showcasing a more mature musical identity and deeper emotional expression. The album title [Emotion] represents the various changes in feelings experienced in love, completing a full emotional spectrum through diverse genres and storytelling.
About one year and three months after their previous mini-album [Urban Ride], this new release [Emotion] explores themes such as ironic excitement, irresistible temptation, freedom and liberation, intense romance, and both farewells and new beginnings—all interpreted through DKB's unique musical style, further deepening the group’s identity. The members once again actively participated in the songwriting, composing, and choreography, making the album more genuine and personal.
The title track “Irony” is a pop-rock song highlighted by an addictive guitar riff. It captures the moment of ambiguity when one questions whether a lover's actions are sincere or just a game. The track strongly expresses sweet yet confusing emotions, offering a glimpse into DKB’s evolving charm.
The album also includes four additional tracks:
“Snake”, which sings of seductive but dangerous tension,
“Weekend”, portraying the feeling of freedom like a carefree weekend,
“Cinderella”, conveying a romantic message,
and “Hello, Goodbye (Rollercoaster)”, which captures the emotions of parting and starting anew.
DKB’s 9th mini-album [Emotion] captures the transformations of love through their signature style. With high member involvement, the album delivers a rich emotional range and broader genre spectrum, promising to leave a lasting impression on global fans.
