Description
With “REASON,” MONSTA X released their twelfth mini album in January 2023, once again showcasing their signature blend of powerful beats, rock influences, and emotional melodies. The title track “Beautiful Liar” combines energetic guitar sounds with an intense rhythm, telling the story of a dangerous yet irresistible love. Other musical highlights include “Crescendo,” co-produced by JOOHONEY and blending traditional Korean instruments with modern drill beats, and “LONE RANGER,” which features significant production contributions from HYUNGWON.
“REASON” explores the reasons that bring people together and the importance of trust, love, and connection. The album also reflects on MONSTA X's musical journey and their special bond with their fans. The “Jewel Version” is available in five individual member editions featuring MINHYUK, KIHYUN, HYUNGWON, JOOHONEY, and I.M. With its compact CD format and member-specific designs, it offers a personal alternative to the four standard photobook versions.
