Description
With “FLASHBACK,” iKON returned in 2022 with their fourth mini album, combining their signature sound with a nostalgic and more emotional atmosphere. The release is led by the title track “BUT YOU,” which introduces a new musical side of the group through its retro synth-pop sound. Songs such as “DRAGON” and “NAME” complement the album with different influences from hip-hop, pop, and R&B. A special feature of the physical edition is the additional CD-exclusive track “AT EASE,” which is not included in the digital release.
Fitting its title, “FLASHBACK” explores memories, past emotions, and the lasting impressions that special people leave behind. While “BUT YOU” combines the longing for a past love with an energetic retro sound, the other tracks explore different emotional perspectives. The members themselves also contributed to the album’s creation, adding their personal touch to the release. The Photobook Edition is available in two versions “RED” and “GREEN.”
