Description
With “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child,” TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) opened a new and noticeably darker chapter of their musical journey in 2022. The group’s fourth mini album features five tracks and is led by the intense title track “Good Boy Gone Bad.” Songs such as “Opening Sequence,” “Trust Fund Baby,” “Lonely Boy (The tattoo on my ring finger),” and “Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go” showcase different sides of the group, moving between melancholic and atmospheric sounds and powerful rock and pop influences.
At the heart of the album is the experience of a first major heartbreak and the emotional journey that follows the end of a relationship. While anger, disappointment, and pain initially take over, these feelings gradually give way to the determination to leave the past behind and move forward. The two unit tracks, “Lonely Boy” by YEONJUN and HUENINGKAI and “Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go” by SOOBIN, BEOMGYU, and TAEHYUN, explore different stages of this emotional development. In this way, “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” combines a more mature and rebellious side of TXT with the hope of a new beginning. The “TEAR” version of “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” is a special member edition of the album, available in five different versions, each featuring an individual cover of SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, or HUENINGKAI.
