Description
With “VILLAIN : ZERO,” DRIPPIN continued their musical storyline surrounding the “Villain’z Era” in June 2022. The second single album serves as a prequel to their previous mini album “VILLAIN,” revealing more secrets within the group's intricate narrative. The title track “ZERO” combines alternative hip-hop with distorted guitar sounds, striking beats, and intense rap sections. “GAME” and “Trick and Treat” complete the release, showcasing additional sides of DRIPPIN's musical style.
At the heart of “VILLAIN : ZERO” is the mysterious figure “X,” whose divided identity plays a central role in the story. The concept explores opposites, uncertainty, and the question of how individual choices can influence the course of future events. Building on the darker atmosphere of the previous chapter, the album expands the group's fictional universe with important pieces of background information. Through its distinctive sound and mysterious storytelling, “VILLAIN : ZERO” combines musical intensity with an ongoing narrative. The single album is available in two versions, “A” and “B”.
