Description
With “BORN PINK,” BLACKPINK released their second studio album in September 2022, marking their group comeback after approximately two years. The title track “Shut Down” combines modern hip-hop beats with a sample of Niccolò Paganini's classical piece “La Campanella,” while the pre-release single “Pink Venom” blends traditional Korean instruments with powerful rap verses. Another highlight is “Hard to Love,” a solo track performed entirely by ROSÉ.
The album title “BORN PINK” reflects BLACKPINK's distinctive identity, bringing together their confident, powerful image and a more emotional musical side. Across eight tracks, the group showcases its versatility while continuing its international success story. The album is available in three standard Box Set versions, “PINK,” “BLACK,” and “GRAY,” each featuring a different visual concept. A more compact Digipack Edition is also available in four individual member versions featuring JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and LISA.
