Description
With “MAXIDENT,” Stray Kids released their seventh mini album in October 2022, showcasing a new side of their signature sound. The title track “CASE 143” combines energetic pop with hip-hop influences and unexpected rhythmic changes. A particular highlight is the inclusion of three unit tracks, “3RACHA,” “TASTE,” and “Can't Stop,” allowing the members to explore different musical styles in smaller groups.
The album title combines the words “Maximum” and “Incident,” describing love as an unexpected and overwhelming event. Stray Kids explore different aspects of romantic feelings more prominently than on their previous mini albums while maintaining their experimental musical identity. Production was once again largely driven by the group's own producing trio, 3RACHA. The “CASE Version” of “MAXIDENT” offers a more compact alternative to the standard photobook editions and is available in eight individual member versions featuring BANG CHAN, LEE KNOW, CHANGBIN, HYUNJIN, HAN, FELIX, SEUNGMIN, and I.N.
