Description
With “THE PIECE OF9,” SF9 released their twelfth mini album in January 2023, presenting an elegant blend of dance-pop, R&B, and electronic sounds. The title track “Puzzle” stands out with its mysterious atmosphere, catchy melodies, and rhythmic bassline, while songs such as “Love Colour” and “New World” showcase further aspects of the group's versatile sound. Members ZUHO and HWI YOUNG also made notable creative contributions, participating in the lyrics of several tracks.
The album explores the motif of a puzzle, telling a story of uncovering hidden truths and piecing together clues to reveal the bigger picture. SF9 bring this concept to life through a stylish secret-agent and mystery aesthetic that highlights their confident charisma. “THE PIECE OF9” is available in three standard photobook versions, “SCENE,” “FREEZE,” and “CATCH,” each presenting a different interpretation of the album's mysterious concept.
