Description
With “expérgo,” NMIXX released their first mini album in March 2023, presenting a versatile blend of pop, R&B, hip-hop, and electronic sounds. The title track “Love Me Like This” combines infectious rhythms with powerful vocals and catchy melodies. Another highlight is the pre-release single “Young, Dumb, Stupid,” which surprises listeners with its playful sound and a melody inspired by the children's song “Frère Jacques.” Tracks such as “PAXXWORD” and “My Gosh” further showcase the group's musical versatility.
The album title “expérgo” comes from Latin and means “to awaken.” It marks the beginning of a new chapter in NMIXX's imaginative storyline, in which the members overcome obstacles together and discover a world filled with diversity and possibilities. The standard “Normal Version” is available in two concept editions: “A,” featuring a predominantly black-and-white aesthetic, and “B,” showcasing colorful designs. Both versions reflect the album's imaginative visual world while presenting different aspects of its concept.
