GOT the Beat is a South Korean girl group under SM Entertainment. The group currently consists of seven talented members: BoA, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Seulgi, Wendy, Karina, and Winter. GOT the Beat, also known as Girls On Top, is a project by SM Entertainment that brings together a combination of soloists and members of existing groups under the same label. While BoA has been active as a solo artist since 2000, the other members—Taeyeon and Hyoyeon are from Girls' Generation, Seulgi and Wendy are from Red Velvet, and Karina and Winter are from aespa.

The group made their debut in January 2022 with the single "Step Back," which was a major success. They quickly gained recognition in the K-pop industry.
