Description
With “SHINING UP,” TEMPEST released their second mini album in August 2022, introducing a fresh, summery sound. The title track “Can't Stop Shining” combines energetic dance-pop with catchy melodies and an uplifting message. Songs such as “Young & Wild” and “Only One Day” showcase different sides of the group, ranging from youthful energy to more emotional sounds.
The album explores themes of youth, personal growth, and the courage to follow one's own path. Following their debut with “It's ME, It's WE,” TEMPEST reveal a slightly more mature side while maintaining their vibrant charm. Member HWARANG contributed to the lyrics of “Can't Stop Shining” and “Only One Day.” “SHINING UP” is available in two standard versions, “Sunlight” and “Moonlight,” each presenting a different visual interpretation of the album's summer-inspired concept.
