Description
With “COLORS from Ars,” GOT7’s YOUNGJAE opened his own musical chapter in 2021 and made his official solo debut. His first mini album features seven tracks and is led by the fresh dance-pop title track “Vibin.” Songs such as “Beautiful,” “Tasty,” “Roses,” “Eternal,” and “Lonely” move between pop, R&B, and softer sounds, giving YOUNGJAE the opportunity to showcase different sides of his voice and individual musical style.
Fittingly, the title “COLORS from Ars” represents the different musical colors YOUNGJAE wants to show as a solo artist. “Ars” is the name he uses as a songwriter and composer and refers to the Latin phrase “Ars longa, vita brevis” – “Art is long, life is short.” The album becomes especially personal through YOUNGJAE’s extensive involvement in its creation, as he participated in the lyrics, composition, and production of all seven tracks. “COLORS from Ars” is available in two different versions, Ver. A and Ver. B.
