AEN was formed with a total of seven members: JIYONG, BOMIN, KYUHYUN, HARU, JUNSEO, and KAIRA, who all appeared on STARSHIP ENTERTAINMENT’s audition program “Debut’s Plan,” along with HARUTO. The group name AEN stands for “A New Era of Now.” It represents “a new generation that redefines and creates the present moment in its own way.”

In Japanese, the name can also carry the meaning of “eternity.” The name embodies the group’s determination to continuously evolve, change, and grow.

The seven members, ranging in age from 18 to 22, bring youthful energy and a fresh appeal to the group. Making the most of this fresh charm, AEN plans to promote its activities from Japan and Korea while reaching fans around the world.
