After about 2 years and 9 months, Apink returns with their 11th mini-album [RE : LOVE], delivering an even more meaningful project.
The mini-album [RE : LOVE] tells the story of “myself,” who lives a dazzling, enviable life but suddenly feels emptiness, looks back 15 years, and wonders, “What did I truly want?” Through this journey, they realize the incomparable emotion of love. The album also conveys a classic, deeply emotional narrative that only Apink can express.
The title track “Love Me More” combines modern, tinny EP sounds with 90s analog machine synth sounds, creating a piece that is wistful yet elegant, bright yet tinged with longing and subtle pain. Warm love confessions convey mature, honest feelings expressed straightforwardly but attractively.
When reflecting on the past, we are reminded of our present selves—not because of external factors, but because we lose touch with the essence of now and recall our past. What we initially wanted was love, and now we do not want to forget or lose that feeling. Apink evokes the most cherished moments of love, confessing that even if eternity may not exist, they hope that every single moment remains unforgettable.
