Description
With “FACE THE SUN,” SEVENTEEN released their fourth full-length studio album in 2022, showcasing a powerful yet more personal side of their musical identity. Its nine tracks are led by the energetic title track “HOT” and also include songs such as “Darl+ing,” “DON QUIXOTE,” and “Shadow.” Moving between hip-hop, pop, rock influences, and more emotional sounds, the album highlights the musical versatility of the thirteen members while combining intense performances with more reflective moments.
At the heart of “FACE THE SUN” is the determination to confront one's own fears, doubts, and inner shadows rather than running away from them. The sun symbolizes both the challenges ahead and the courage to face them while confidently pursuing one's goals. Through this message, SEVENTEEN explore themes of personal growth, ambition, and self-determination, highlighting their development as a group. “FACE THE SUN” is available in five different versions “CONTROL,” “SHADOW,” “RAY,” “PATH,” and “PIONEER.”
