Rainz
Rainz was a South Korean boy band formed in 2017 through the reality show Produce 101 Season 2. The group consisted of seven talented members, all of whom already had experience in the entertainment industry.With their debut album Sunshine, they quickly gained a loyal fanbase. Rainz was known for their captivating performances, harmonious vocals, and charismatic stage presence. Hits like "Juliette" and "Turn It Up" thrilled fans around the world.
Red Velvet
Prior to their debut, Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Yeri were part of SM Rookies, SM Entertainment's pre-debut team of trainees under SR14G (SMROOKIES 2014 Girls). The members appeared in several music videos and posted their own content with SM Rookies. Seulgi was the first to be recruited through SM Saturday Open Audition in 2007 and made a cameo appearance in Henry's "Fantastic." Irene became a trainee of SM Entertainment in 2009 and made a cameo appearance in Henry's "1-4-3 (I Love You)." Wendy was recruited in 2012 during the SM Global Audition in Canada and released an OST for the drama Mimi. Joy was recruited in 2012 through the SM Global Audition in Seoul. Finally, Yeri was cast during the SM Global Audition in the US in 2011. On July 21, it was rumored that Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy would debut as a group, replacing SM Rookies, which was confirmed by SM Entertainment, with Joy also joining the group. Red Velvet's debut was the company's first girl group in five years, according to f(x). After several teasers, the music video for "Happiness" was released on August 1, 2014, with member Yeri making a cameo appearance, but due to the controversial imagery related to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the events of September 11, the music video was removed. On the same day, they made their official debut on Music Bank. On August 4, the music video was replaced without the images in question and the digital single was released. On March 10, 2015, it was announced that Red Velvet would make their comeback as a five-member group, with SM posting an introduction video on their official YouTube channel to welcome the group's newest member, Yeri. On the same day, they announced that their first mini-album will be called "Ice Cream Cake," with the title song of the same name. The song was a huge success, topping several charts and earning their first win in a music show on Music Bank on March 27, which was followed by others. On September 3, several red blocks were posted on Instagram throughout the day. Later it turned out that they were a huge grid of the track list of their upcoming album "The Red", with which they announced their comeback. The next day it was revealed that the title track of the album will be "Dumb Dumb" and a teaser for the music video was released. After several teasers, the album was released on September 9. The album landed at number one on the Billboard World Albums Chart and the Gaon Albums Chart.   On August 19, 2016, it was announced that Red Velvet would be making a comeback sometime in September. On the same day, more teasers were released showing the words "Russian Roulette". From September 1 to September 5, individual teaser photos were released in the following order: Joy, Irene, Seulgi, Yeri, and Wendy. After several teasers, it was revealed that the title song will have the same name as the album. On June 23, 2017, it was announced that Red Velvet would release a mini-album in July for a summer comeback, reflecting the group's summer concept since the "Happiness" era.  Later that same day, another set of teasers were posted, revealing the title of the album and the full track list, which included the title track "Red Flavor. About 2 hours after the release of "The Red Summer" on July 9, the song "Red Flavor" reached the top of 7 Korean digital music charts and the other tracks also reached high rankings in the charts. On July 23, a source from SM Entertainment revealed that Red Velvet would return with the album "Summer Magic." The group had finished filming the music video for their new song. The album contains a total of seven songs. The group performed the songs from the album at their second concert REDMARE on August 4 and 5. Their first summer mini album was released on August 6 with the title song "Power Up."  After the release, the song "Power Up" quickly rose to the top of the charts.  On January 4, 2019, SM posted a music video teaser for their new Japanese single "Sappy" on their YouTube channel without warning. The official music video was released two days later, on January 6. On June 19, Red Velvet released their sixth mini-album "The ReVe Festival" Day 1, along with the title track "Zimzalabim." It is the first part of "The ReVe Festival" trilogy. The mini-album debuted at the top of South Korea's Gaon Album Chart. The mini album sold 185,821 copies in its first month. Two months after the release of The ReVe Festival: Day 1, 'The ReVe Festival' Day 2, their seventh mini-album, was released with the title track "Umpah Umpah" on August 20. The final release of the trilogy, 'The ReVe Festival' Finale, was released on December 23 with the title track "Psycho." To promote The ReVe Festival trilogy, the group launched their third concert, La Rouge, which started on November 23 and 24 in Seoul According to the reports, SM Entertainment confirmed that members Seulgi and Irene were preparing to debut in the group's first sub-unit, with the debut date set for June 15, 2020. However, it was postponed, citing the need for additional production of the album to achieve a higher quality of music. On June 21, it was announced that Red Velvet - Irene & Seulgi would debut on July 6 with their first mini-album Monster. On March 10, 2021, SM Entertainment announced that Wendy would make her solo debut "Water" in April. On May 12, Star News reported that Joy would release her first solo album later that month. SM confirmed that she was working on a remake album and that a detailed schedule would be announced soon. The digital single "Je T'aime" was pre-released on May 26 and the solo special album "Hello" was released on May 31 with the title track of the same name. On June 9, Herald POP reported that Red Velvet was preparing for an August comeback. It would be their first comeback in almost a year and a half after the release of "The ReVe Festival" finale. On August 16, Red Velvet released their eighth mini-album, "Queendom." On February 18, 2022, Xports News reported in an exclusive that Red Velvet would make a comeback in March. Less than an hour later, SM Entertainment itself confirmed that Red Velvet was preparing the album "ReVe Festival 2022 - Feel My Rhythm" to be released in March.On November 7, it was announced that Red Velvet would release their 10th mini-album "The ReVe Festival 2022 - Birthday" on November 28. This album again beat their own records in terms of sales. Red Velvet have been successful in the industry for a long time because of their hard work compared to some other groups, making them one of the most successful girl groups in Kpop history.
RESCENE
RESCENE (리센느) is a rising five-member girl group under THE MUZE Entertainment. They will debut on March 26, 2024, with the single album Re:Scene. The members of RESCENE are Woni, Liv, Minami, May, and Zena.The group has a supportive and loving fandom called "REMINE."
RIIZE
Riize is a rising K-pop band founded in 2023 that has already gathered a large fanbase. Their debut album Get a Guitar was praised by both critics and fans alike. The members of Riize are not only talented singers and dancers but also dedicated songwriters who actively participate in the production of their music. RoaD-B
RoaD-B (formerly BXK / BOYS X KING) is a rising South Korean band that was founded in 2019. The band consists of five talented members: Sion, Woong, Jihwan, Hyunjin, and Seokwon. They have already released several successful singles, including hits like "Dreamer" and "Fever."RoaD-B debuted on November 2, 2020. With their catchy melodies and captivating lyrics, they have gained a loyal fanbase.Due to a long period of inactivity, fans assume that the group has disbanded.
Rocket Punch
Rocket Punch is a South Korean girl group founded in 2019 by Woollim Entertainment. The group consists of five talented members: Yeonhee, Suyun, Yunkyoung, Sohee, and Dahyun. A former member, Juri, left the group on May 24, 2024.Their debut album, Pink Punch, was praised by both fans and critics and included hits like "Bim Bam Bum" and "Love Is Over." The group quickly made a name for themselves in the K-pop scene and built a loyal fanbase. Rocket Punch has also proven to be versatile artists, excelling in both singing and dancing.They have participated in various music shows and events, showcasing their impressive skills.Yeonhee, Yunkyoung, Sohee, and Dahyun left Woollim Entertainment at the end of 2024 without announcing whether they would continue group activities or not.
Samuel
Samuel Kim Arredondo, better known as Samuel, is a Korean-American singer born in 2002 in Los Angeles, California.He began his career as a contestant on the second season of the South Korean audition show K-Pop Star in 2012. He was also briefly a trainee at Pledis Entertainment and trained alongside the members of Seventeen. However, since he was still very young, he unfortunately did not make it into the group. Although he did not win, he gained attention and was signed by Brave Entertainment.Samuel debuted in 2015 as a member of the group 1Punch, which disbanded shortly after their debut. In 2017, he launched his solo career and released his first mini-album Sixteen, which performed well on the charts. Samuel has made a name for himself in the K-pop scene and has built a loyal fanbase.
Say My Name
Say My Name, also known as SMN, is the first girl group under the label iNKODE. The group consists of members Hitomi, Kanny, Mei, Dohee, Junhwi, Soha, and Seungjoo, who come from Japan, Thailand, and Korea.They officially debuted on October 16, 2024, with their first EP Say My Name and the title track "Wave Why."
Secret
Secret is a South Korean girl group that originally debuted in 2009 and became one of the most recognizable acts of K-pop's second generation. The group gained popularity through a series of successful releases, including Magic, Madonna, Shy Boy, and Poison. Known for their strong vocals, catchy melodies, and versatile concepts, Secret built a dedicated fanbase both in South Korea and internationally. Secret Number
Secret Number is a South Korean girl group formed in 2020 by Vine Entertainment. The group consists of six talented members: Soodam, Zuu, Dinda, Min C, Ebin, and Navi. Soodam is the only member remaining from the original debut lineup, as all the others left the group one by one and were replaced by new members.Their debut album Who Dis? was released in May 2020 and included the hit song “Who Dis?”, which quickly became a fan favorite. Secret Number has also found success with songs like “Got That Boom” and “Fire Saturday,” showcasing their versatility and talent.The members of Secret Number have gained attention not only for their music but also for their personalities and dedication to their fans, whom they lovingly call “Lockets.” They regularly participate in fan meetings and events to show their support and build a close connection with their fans.
SEVENTEEN
Seventeen is a 13-piece band which debuted on May 26, 2015 with the mini album "17 Carat" and the title track "Adore U" under Pledis Entertainment. But their way to debut was very long. Already in 2013, the show "Seventeen TV" was broadcast, which showed how the still very young trainees prepare for a debut. At that time it was not yet clear who would eventually be a member of the band. Everyone could follow the training and selection process at home in front of the screen. In May 2015, the channel MBC aired the series "Seventeen Project: Big Debut Plan", which showed how the final members prepare for their debut. In the last episode of the series, their debut was also officially announced. Their debut song "Adore U" went straight to the top of the Gaon charts.   The band also has 3 sub units. The first is the 'Vocal Unit', consisting of Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK and Seungkwan. With their impressive moves the 'Performance Unit' with Hoshi, Jun, The8 and Dino inspires. Since Seventeen has extremely talented rappers, you should definitely also keep an eye on the 'Hip-Hop Unit', consisting of S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon.   Even though the intensely crafted performances often push the members to their limits, the stage shows are absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable for any fan.
SEVENUS
Sevenus is a South Korean duo consisting of Heejae and Ireah under PCS Entertainment. Heejae and Ireah previously participated in the survival competition show Peak Time as two members of their former group, Masc.After finishing in second place, it was announced on May 3, 2023, that they had signed an exclusive contract with PCS Entertainment to start fresh and re-debut as a duo. On May 9, 2023, the duo announced that they would change their name to Sevenus.The beginning, “Seven,” holds special meaning for them because they were part of Team 7:00 during the show, and “US” signifies their connection with the fans.
SF9
SF9 is a South Korean boy group founded in 2016 by FNC Entertainment. The band consists of nine talented members and has made a name for themselves with their energetic performances and catchy songs like "Roar" and "Now or Never."SF9 has a loyal fanbase worldwide and is appreciated for their versatility and musical talent. Recently, Rowoon left the group to focus on his acting career. Rowoon was not only a talented singer and dancer in SF9 but also gained great recognition as an actor in various dramas and films.His departure from the group has stirred mixed feelings among fans, who are sad to see him go but also proud of his achievements as an actor. Despite losing a member, SF9 continues to work hard and regularly releases new music.
Shinee
SHINee is a South Korean boy band founded in 2008 by SM Entertainment. The group consists of five talented members: Onew, Key, Minho, Taemin, and Jonghyun. SHINee is often regarded as one of the most influential K-Pop bands and has a large international fanbase.The band is known for their energetic live performances, charismatic personalities, and versatile music. Their songs are often catchy and uplifting, with lyrics that explore themes such as love, friendship, and self-acceptance.Throughout their career, SHINee has won numerous awards and released several successful albums. They have also achieved international success and are famous for their impressive dance routines and powerful stage presence.Despite the tragic loss of Jonghyun in 2017, SHINee remains one of the most beloved K-Pop groups in the world. The remaining members have decided to continue the band and honor Jonghyun’s legacy. SHINee will always be remembered as one of the most influential and talented boy bands in the K-Pop industry.On May 25, 2025, on their 17th anniversary, SHINee released the single album Poet | Artist as a tribute to their late member Jonghyun. The album reflects the artistic vision and style of Jonghyun’s final solo album and showcases the group’s emotional connection while keeping his memory alive.
Snuper
Snuper was a South Korean boy band founded in 2015 by Widmay Entertainment. The group consisted of six talented members: Suhyun, Sangil, Taewoong, Woosung, Sangho, and Sebin.With hits like "Platonic Love," "You=Heaven," and "Tulips," they made a name for themselves in the K-Pop scene. Snuper had a loyal fanbase known as Swings and gained popularity worldwide. The band participated in various music shows and concerts and also performed abroad.Besides their music careers, the members of Snuper were also active in acting, hosting, and other entertainment fields. On May 3, 2023, the group officially announced their disbandment.
Soohyun (U-Kiss)
Soohyun, born Shin Soo-hyun, is a talented South Korean singer and actor known as a member of the boy band U-KISS. He was born on March 11, 1989, in Goyang, South Korea. SOOJIN

Since then, she has been active as a solo artist and made her solo comeback on November 8, 2023, with the EP "아가씨 (AGASSY)."
SOYOU
Soyou, whose real name is Kang Ji-hyun, is a South Korean singer and former member of the popular girl group Sistar. She was born on February 12, 1992, in South Korea and began her music career as a trainee under Starship Entertainment. Soyou became known as the main vocalist of Sistar and impressed fans with her clear and powerful voice.Sistar debuted in 2010 and quickly gained great popularity in the K-pop scene. STAYC
STAYC is a South Korean K-pop girl group that debuted in 2020 under High Up Entertainment. The group has six members: Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, and J. The name STAYC stands for "Star To A Young Culture," representing the group's goal of inspiring young people through their music and style.STAYC made their debut on November 12, 2020, with the single "SO BAD." Stray Kids
The 8-member group Stray Kids was formed in 2017 in the reality show of the same name under JYP Entertainment. On March 25, 2018, Stray Kids made their debut with the mini album "I Am Not", but with 9 members. Before their official debut, they already released a mini album called "Mixtape" and the digital single "Hellevator", because the guys already showed their distinct talent in composing their own songs. The time before their debut was also very hard and tugged at the member's nerves. Felix and Lee Know were elimated from the reality show and had no chance to debut, but in the last episode both got another chance and actually made it into the group, also to the delight of many fans. Already one year after their debut they released 3 mini albums and this closed the album series "I AM". After that followed the "Clé" series, which has a connection with the previous albums. If you look closely at the music videos from these eras, you can also see this. On October 27, 2019, JYP announced that Woojin was leaving for personal reasons. Since then, Stray Kids were 8 members and with ever-increasing success. The following albums let the fanbase of Stray Kids grow more and more, so that they quickly already belonged to the big ones. Around the world, the guys fill numerous locations, which were sold out in record time, including 2019 in Berlin. In 2021, Stray Kids were canidates of the show "Kingdom: The Legendary War", where several groups have to prove their talent in different performances. Although Hyunjin was not there due to a bullying scandal from their school days, Stray Kids took the win. The population for them grows more and more and this is what they deserve after thier hard work!
Sunmi
Sunmi is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and former member of the girl group Wonder Girls. She launched her solo career in 2013 and has since established herself as one of the most influential artists in the K-Pop industry.Sunmi is known for her unique music style, which blends pop, dance, and retro elements. She has released hits like “24 Hours,” “Gashina,” and “Siren,” which have been both commercially successful and critically acclaimed. Sunmi is also recognized for her powerful stage presence and charismatic personality.Her songs often explore themes such as self-love, feminism, and social issues, making her an inspiring figure to many fans. Throughout her career, Sunmi has received numerous awards for her music and performances.
SUNYE
Sunye is a South Korean singer and former member of the K-pop girl group Wonder Girls. Born in 1989 in Seoul, she began her music career as a trainee under JYP Entertainment and eventually debuted as part of Wonder Girls, one of the most successful girl groups in South Korea.Sunye was known for her powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence. In addition to her music career, she was also active as an actress, appearing in various TV shows and dramas. Super Junior

Formed in 2005 by SM Entertainment, the group originally consisted of 13 talented members, including Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun, as well as former members Kangin, Sungmin, Kibum, and Hangeng.Super Junior is known for their versatility and wide musical range, spanning pop, R&B, and dance genres. With iconic hits like "Sorry Sorry", "Bonamana", and "Mr. Simple", they have solidified their place in the K-pop world and built a dedicated global fanbase.The members of Super Junior are not only talented singers and dancers, but also successful actors, MCs, and entertainers.
